A: You will need to bring a government issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, military ID) and if you are the buyer, the funds.
A: You can write a personal check for anything up to the amount of $1,000. Certified funds are acceptable for up to $4,999. Anything $5,000.00 or more requires a wire transfer. ACH transfers are not accepted.
A: Once the office has everything they need they will begin the transfer. It can take as little as an hour and should be should be completed by end of day.
A: It varies. There are many different factors that can affect how long a closing takes. For example, refinances are usually quicker than purchases, and cash closings are also pretty quick. If there are title issues that can slow down a closing. Without issues, a closing usually takes about a week to a week and a half. A couple months? The actual closing should only take about an hour as long as both parties have done their work correctly.
A: The Atlanta location is preferred, although we do have 2 other locations. If the attorney has availability traveling may be an option upon request.
